Greg
Greg, the founder of Tax Advisors, PLLC, has over twenty-seven
years of public accounting and private industry experience
in federal, international, property, state/local, cost
segregation and government relations tax experience.
After his public accounting experience with Arthur Andersen,
Moss Adams, and Coopers & Lybrand Greg became Tax
Manager for Thousand Trails, Inc. In 1988 Greg became
Tax Director & Vice President for Red Lion Hotels'
corporate office where he was responsible for all federal,
state, property and local taxes. In 1996, Greg left
Red Lion to consult with other companies, and went on
to form Tax Advisors, PLLC. Greg has represented clients
before numerous county and state judicial bodies. He
is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, Oregon
Society of CPAs, Institute of Professionals in Taxation,
Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals,
and the hotel associations in Washington, California,
Oregon, Colorado, Idaho, Utah, New Mexico, Hawaii, and
Montana.

Portia

Portia
After over eight years of experience as a Revenue Auditor
for the Washington Department of Revenue, Portia joined
Tax Advisors in 2002 as a Property, State and Local Tax
Consultant. Portia also brings private industry experience
which includes working as a Field Consultant for the Southland
Corporation and as an Operations Manager/Accountant for
a local start-up. With Tax Advisors, Portia helps manage
the property tax services group, working with clients
and assessor's offices in analyzing and securing reduced
assessed values. Portia also specializes in performing
reverse sales and excise tax audits, handling tax audits,
obtaining manufacturing machinery and equipment tax refunds,
researching and applying for tax exemptions and cancellations,
and reducing real and personal property tax valuations.
She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Business from the University
of Washington in Seattle and passed the CPA exam on her
first attempt.

Kent

Kent
Since 1979 Kent has provided cost segregation, valuation
consulting, and expert witness services to a variety of
clients. As a cost segregation analyst and certified appraiser,
Kent focuses on the cost segregation and valuation of
most types of real property, including the quantification
of obsolescence and other conditions causing a loss in
value. He is certified by the American Society of Appraisers
as a Senior Appraiser in the discipline of Machinery and
Technical Specialties/Cost Surveys (an expert in the cost
approach). He was a Vice President with Arthur D. Little
Valuation in Los Angeles where he managed the cost segregation
and property tax groups. Kent has published numerous articles
which are available on request.

Kelly Roberton , Business Development Manager

Kelly is a seasoned sales representative and a graduate of Washington State University – Pullman with a degree
in Sport Management and Business Administration. Kelly interned
with the Group Sales Division of the Portland Trail Blazers and was
then hired as an Account Representative, where she generated season,
group and inside sales. Kelly also managed the Trail Blazers client
database, enhanced customer service and maximized sales opportunities.
At Tax Advisors, Kelly is responsible for facilitating the introduction
of Tax Advisors to new clients, helping their existing clients with service
needs and working with the team at Tax Advisors to help grow and expand their
tax practice.

Aaron Taylor

Aaron has specialized in the delivery of financial advisory and valuation
services since 1993. Prior to joining Tax Advisors, Aaron was a Manager at Deloitte
FAS, LLP and Lead Appraiser at National Appraisal Co., Inc. In his current role
at Tax Advisors, he oversees and performs valuation and cost segregation projects
that include both real and personal property components. Aaron has broad valuation
experience encompassing work within the high tech, biotechnology, paper and forest
products, electronic, aerospace and defense, consumer products, petroleum, telecommunications,
utility, hotel, food service, mining and food processing industries. His real and
personal property valuation experience consists of improved and unimproved industrial,
commercial, and residential properties, which are generally considered highly complex.
He is certified by the American Society of Appraisers as a Senior Accredited Member
– Machinery Technical Specialties and a licensed real estate appraiser in
various states.
